I’ve been in the festival spirit lately, so how ’bout a throwback? This launched back in 2010, yet I’m obsessing. I’m absolutely in love with the way Dragonette’s vocals standout against the subtle melody Kaskade constructs. The fact that Sultan & Ned Shepard remixed this is just the cherry on top.

100th Post! – Kaskade feat Dragonette – Fire in Your New Shoes
I almost posted the new Britney Spears song for today’s track because it’s surprisingly good, a chant-y track that’s much better than the first single. Britney manages to pulls off the Ke$ha sound (who wrote the track) in a much less annoying manner. Buuut, today is a special day as it’s my 100th post!! And I couldn’t really celebrate it with a Britney Spears track – not that it’s doesn’t sound cleaaan (I ain’t gonna hate), but because it’s not really representative of the type of jams I’m regularly sharing. Kaskade and Dragonette, however, are right up my alley… this one’s got some real moxie, without sounding like a typical radio hit. Enjoy the vibe…
