The White Panda was commissioned by Firefly Music Festival to create a mashup of all the headliners for their lineup announcement. This is the end result…
XILENT is taking advantage of some of Britain’s talent by remixing their music. Not too long ago did this producer remix Ed Sheeran’s Give Me Love and did a phenomenal job me thinks. His most recent work is a fantastic chillstep/dubstep version of Figure 8 by the lovely Ellie Goulding. Her vocals are simply to die for and compliment the hard-hitting drums and synths nicely.
How appropriate is the title of this song? Before their recent break-up, Ellie Goulding and Skrillex had worked on a track together and titled it Bittersweet. It clearly wasn’t something they planned, but it works out perfectly. Moving on: this isn’t the first time these two worked together, if you recall Skrillex’s Summit. Similar in ways, their new track is a very mellow and vulnerable piece. Expect to find this track on the new Breaking Dawn Part 2 Soundtrack.
Ellie Goulding has been working closely with some top-name producers on her upcoming album, Halcyon. Last week, her track with Calvin Harris was released on the internet and was immediately accepted by the masses. Not too shortly after is another collaboration, but this time with the young, French producer, Madeon. I’m sure you’re dying to listen, so go ahead and press play already!
I Need Your Love features two big names that we’re all familiar with. Goulding, who’s album is due out October 9th, continues to impress with her amazing talent. Her album, entitled Halcyon, includes many of our favorites from High For This to Holding On, and now this dance-y number. Make sure to check it out! Her counterpart, the legendary Calvin Harris, will too feature this track on his upcoming album. He can be thanked for the excitement in this track with his cheery melodies and upbeat tempo.

It’s hard to not want to keep listening to this song. I may be biased as I love Ellie Goulding, but nothing can compare with this song; it’s perfection. The soft hitting beat and melody topped with her dreamy vocals is all it takes, and even Tinie Tempah’s verse is bearable… that’s a first.
Britain’s Ellie Goulding has been off the scene lately until she released her cover of The Weeknd’s High For This. Simply beautiful.
This song has been remixed to death and the results have been mixed – often there’s too much of a clash between Ellie Goulding’s stunning vocals and the underlying beat. That’s not the case here – the vocals really shine over the sparse synths that build throughout the track. Extremely impressive work from the group RAC, otherwise known as the Remix Artist Collective. Download link
