Leona Lewis samples Avicii’s Penguin for her brand new single (without Avicii’s approval….) and then Afrojack puts a bangin Dutch synth drop on the remix. It’s true that the original Lewis track is a blatant ripoff of Avicii’s jam, but what’s interesting is that Avicii himself sampled the original song! So maybe all credit should go to little known Penguin Cafe Orchestra and their track Perpetuum Mobile?? Such a powerful riff…
