Our boy Trunkz is back with another beast track! I first posted his phenomenal Comptine d’Un Autre Eté a year ago, and he’s followed it up with other epic productions. Now he’s back with a more traditional dubstep drop, but it’s not any less cinematic or sweeping. This producer definitely has a flair for the dramatic.
The almighty dubstep legend Bassnectar teams up with dubstep up & comer PatrickReza for this remix on the chiller side of dubstep. I can’t help but get my wobble on to this track’s deep, wandering bass.
The Reason I Got 99 Problems is a tasteful combination of Skrillex’s hard-hitting sounds and Jay-Z’s phenomenal lyrics. This is a dope/fresh mashup we have here thanks to Mistermike… and it’s nicely put together! Where’s summer when you need it?
I haven’t given Flux Pavilion’s new EP much of a listen until today, and I regret waiting so long… it’s damn good! While all the bass can be too much (at times), at least it’s not busy and thrown together with a bunch of random noises. He sticks to his style — which his gold — and produced a sensational EP.
Boss Wave, Xilent’s latest single, was just released yesterday on Beatport; it’s another action-packed dubstep track from the rising producer. Here’s the official video for Boss Wave, a step into the arcade world.
Bruno Mars’ smashing single, Locked Out Of Heaven, received a dubstep makeover by San Francisco producers The M Machine. I think this is one of my favorite remixes by the group; their selection of synths and hint of glitch hop tickles my pickle and pleases me. And of course, it’s a song that we can all sing along to if we want!
With the success of their Krewella and Adventure Club remixes, the UK duo Culture Code is quickly making a name for themselves in the Dubstep realm. Their most recent production features the lovely Lisa Rowe and is entitled Over Again. This track really demonstrates their ability to experiment with different sounds and to keep pushing their limits. It’s a fascinating track that I hope will bring them the success they’re searching for.
Here’s Bassnectar’s brand new remix of UK based dance producers, Underworld, and their original track Rez. Lorin’s take on this orbital and futuristic chime is fascinating, allowing for his love of bass to be heard without losing Rez in translation. Wonderfully done.
