Kanye West – Mamma’s Boyfriend

New Kanye! There was a live performance of this song last fall and speculation was that it would end up on his last album My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy.  I can see why “Mamma’s Boyfriend” wasn’t included – it’s soul samples and vintage feel would have never fit in with the lavish sounds of the theatrical Twisted Fantasy.  Ye raps about how he felt resentment towards the men in his mother’s life, and how the scripts been flipped now that’s he’s all grown up.  Well done, Mr. West.
